Nexxice Builds Champions

 

 

 

Text Box: Synchronized skating is a team sport in which most of the participants are girls aged 15 - 25.  It is funded predominantly by the skaters and their parents.  The cost of skating for a year at this elite competitive level is about the same as the cost of a year in college.  Nexxice deeply appreciates the support of our friends and sponsors.  Your contributions make it possible for us to pursue our dreams. The Nexxice Junior and Senior Teams compete Internationally for Canada.  The Senior team are five time Senior Canadian Champions and were the 2009 World Champions.  They have competed Internationally in Croatia, France, Italy, Germany, Czech Republic, Hungary, USA and here at home in Canada.   The are currently ranked 5th in the World and appreciate your support as they continue their quest to regain their world medal ranking.  The Junior team are the three time Junior Canadian Champions.  They are currently ranked 4th in the World having been the 2009 and 2010 World silver medalists.  They have represented Canada Internationally in Switzerland, Germany, Czech Republic and Italy. Both teams are committed to their quest for excellence and the skaters and their families are a shining example of what can be accomplished when a dedicated group works together toward a common goal.  As the youth ambassadors of today and the adults and leaders of tomorrow, they have learned the cooperation, self discipline, friendship and teamwork that it takes to accomplish their goals. Your support means the world to them. Skaters on the Nexxice Open Team have been Junior and Senior Competitive Synchronized skaters in the past.  They balance the quest for excellence they learned as competitors with the added demands of family and the working world.  Founded in 2007, they are the current Adult Canadian Silver Medalists.  Their ability to achieve excellence has been well learned and continues in their sport and in their daily lives. This season the NEXXICE famiily of Synchronized Skating teams has grown to include Intermediate, Novice, Juvenile and Beginner teams.  These teams will be competing throughout the season and will strive to achieve the highest level of excellence and have the most fun possible!
